The Middle East Library for Economic Services2025-04-102025-04-102018-08-19https://dspace.id.com.eg/handle/123456789/1881English & ArabicArticle: 1: Subject to the discount stipulated in Clause One of Article (19) of Law No. 24 of the Year 1983 on the guidance and compensation fees and the ports, lighthouses, berthing and boarding fees referred to, cruise and passenger ships shall be granted the following incentives and discounts: Article 2: The (Passenger/ cargo) ships raising a foreign flag owned by Egyptians or chartered fully-equipped by means of a time charter agreement by Egyptians shall be treated as national ships from the monetary point of view. In respect thereof, the categories, stipulated in the law on the guidance and compensation fees and the ports, lighthouses, berthing and boarding fees referred to and the ministerial decrees issued with regard to settling the accounts between the maritime agencies, navigation companies and national ships owners and suppliers, shall apply if the charterer is an owner of at least one ship raising the Egyptian flag or the charterer is a state or a public legal person.
