Abstract

Article 1: Without prejudice to the provisions of the aforesaid decree of the prime minister no. 940 of the year 2020, in continuation of the State's efforts in preserving the health of the citizens and to curb any potential spread of the novel coronavirus, the citizens, all over the republic, are prohibited from moving or transferring on all roads from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., while allowing the necessary movement associated with urgent needs as assessed by the law enforcement office. Article 5: The provisions of the previous articles shall apply as of Sunday, 24th of May, 2020 till Friday, 29th of May, 2020. Article 6: Without prejudice to any stricter penalty stipulated in any other applicable law, imprisonment and/or a fine not more than four thousand Egyptian pounds shall be inflicted on whoever violates the provisions of the first, second and third articles of the present decree.
