Abstract

(Article 1: The Ministerial Committee for Settlement of Investment Disputes shall have a technical secretariat, formed under the chairmanship of the minister responsible for investment affairs; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), with the membership of a deputy chairman, to be elected by the competent minister. An adequate number of members from judicial bodies and authorities and other specialists and experts, to be elected by the minister responsible for investment affairs who shall also determine their remuneration, shall be added to the ministerial committee. The Technical Secretariat shall be staffed with an adequate number of administrative personnel.
