Abstract

Article 1: The period from Saturday, March 29th, 2025 (AD) till Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 (AD) shall be considered a paid official holiday for workers in the ministries, governmental departments, public authorities, local administrative units, the companies of the public sector and the companies of the public business sector, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (Feast of Breaking the Fast). In case the sighting of the new crescent moon of Shawwal 1446 (AH) reveals that Monday, March 31st, 2025 (AD) is the first day of Shawwal 1446 (AH), the holiday period set out in the first paragraph of this article will be extended to Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 (AD).
