Abstract

Article 1: The text of article-1 of Minister of Finance Decree No. 367 of the year 2021, referred to, shall be replaced with the following text: “The importer or his agent may carry out the customs pre-clearance procedures for the cargo, and pay (1%) of the initially estimated taxes and duties, before arrival of the cargo at the territories of the Arab Republic of Egypt, provided that the final settlement and the payment of due taxes and duties in full shall take place following the arrival of the cargo, as per the customs tariff in force at the time of release”.
