Abstract

Article 1: The used passenger cars operating with an electric motor for propulsion or with two motors (electric/ benzene) for propulsion, and imported as of the first of October of the model year till the end of September of the next year, shall enjoy 10% discount of the FOB price upon determining the value taken as a basis of calculating the customs duty, provided that they shall fulfill the import rules. The aforesaid cars which are imported after the end of September of the year following the model year, shall enjoy 10% discount of the FOB price for each of the next two years as calculated from the first of October of each year. Those cars shall also enjoy 5% discount of the FOB price for each of the following years as calculated from the first of October of each year, all without prejudice to the discount and conditions prescribed by the first clause of this article. The discount rates prescribed by the first and second clauses of this article shall not exceed 50% of the FOB price.
