Abstract

Article 1: As of 1/12/2022, all the administrative entities shall be prohibited to issue electronic payment orders to any of the suppliers, contractors or service providers from among the companies and other legal and natural persons prescribed by article (34) of the executive regulations of the uniform tax procedure law, referred to, except if the invoices are issued through the e-invoice system established at the Egyptian Tax Authority, by those registered in that system, as per the following electronic rules and controls, in order to achieve integration and link between the electronic platform for the governance of the invoices of the contracting parties, the government electronic payment system (GPS) and the e-invoice system:
