Abstract

Article 1: The Egyptian Tax Authority shall invite the taxpayers and the responsible persons registered thereat to update their tax particulars, and make this available at the website of the Authority while providing sufficient guarantees for the confidentiality of such data and that it may not be circulated in a way that violates the laws. This invitation shall be addressed either by electronic means or via public announcements. Article 2: The phrase "tax registration number" shall replace the phrase "Tax file number" or the phrase "Taxpayer's file no." wherever mentioned in any regulations or decree.
