Abstract

Article 1: Monthly net income paid from public funds or State-owned authorities and affiliates thereof or companies in which those entities contribute to its capital to any person who occupies a position in the state administrative body, local administrative units and bodies having their own budgets or general, national, economic and service authorities and others from among the juristic persons and those who are regulated by special laws and private cadres - whether such person holds a temporary or permanent position, is an advisor or national expert or works in any other capacity, shall not exceed 35 of the minimum limit or forty two thousand Egyptian pounds. This shall apply to whatever sums the person collects from his original job entity or from any other entity, be it a salary, wage, remuneration for whatever reason, incentive, additional wage, extraordinary efforts, allowance or attendance allowance in a board of directors or committees, that provision shall not apply to sums disbursed against actual expenditures paid in the form of transportation, travel and cost-of-living allowances, insofar as they are paid in the framework of the applicable rules and regulations. The maximum limit referred to in paragraph one shall not apply to employees at diplomatic, consular and commercial representative bodies, and the like, who represent the Arab Republic of Egypt during their work period abroad.
