Abstract

Article 1: The cabinet of ministers, based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance in accordance with the data provided by the ministries concerned, may postpone the payment of all or part of the tax due on the built real estates for a period not exceeding three months, renewable for another similar period, with regard to all or some of the licensed real estates that are actually used in the economic, productive or service sectors affected by the repercussions of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, as determined by the Cabinet. Article 5: In order for any company, establishment or individual within the economic, productive or service sectors affected by the repercussions of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, as determined by the Cabinet, to benefit from or to continue to benefit from all or part of the foregoing stipulations, it shall not dispense with or shall not have previously dispensed with all or part of its workers of different types, nor reduced the basic wages of its workers as a result of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. However, the company, establishment, or individual that had previously dispensed with the workers thereof in the aforementioned manner may benefit from the provisions of this law if it returns the laid-off workers to their jobs.
