Abstract

Article 1: The increase of the exceptional cost-of-living allowance, as per the first article of law No. 172 of the year 2023, referred to, shall be paid to the workers addressed by the provisions of the civil service law and the state civil servants non-addressed thereby, due as on 1/10/2023, at the rate of L.E. 300 monthly, so that the total amount of the exceptional cost-of-living allowance shall be L.E. 600 monthly. The workers or the civil servants who are appointed after the date of applying law No. 172 of the year 2023, shall benefit by this allowance. This increase shall be considered a part of the complementary or variable wages of each of them, as the case may be. Article 3: The increase of the exceptional cost-of-living allowance, as per law No. 172 of the year 2023, referred to, shall be disbursed to each of the following: Article 4: The increase of the exceptional cost-of-living allowance prescribed by article (1) of this decree or the grant prescribed by article (3) of Law No. 172 of the year 2023, referred to, and the exceptional pension grant payable to the worker for himself as per the provisions of article (4) of that law, may not be combined, subject to the following:
