Abstract

Article 1: Condition No. (3) of the conditions prescribed by article-1 of the aforesaid ministerial decree no. 281 of the year 2021 shall be replaced with the following condition: “3- It shall be accompanied with an examination and analysis certificate issued by an internationally accredited laboratory or one of the laboratories reporting to governmental entities or governmental research centers, stating that the imported article does not contain any of the pollutants or components listed in Annex no. (1) of the Basel Convention, at a level that gives it one of the hazard characteristics indicated in annex no. (3) of the same convention, in terms of (toxicity, flammability, reactivity, activity, and corrosion), at levels exceeding the permissible levels or at a concentration that is sufficient to demonstrate one of these characteristics, provided that the General Organization For Export & Import Control shall subject these consignments to random check”.
