Ministry Of Finance Decree No. 55 of the Year 2021 on Collecting a Tax on the Returns of Treasury Bills = وزارة المالية قرار رقم 55 لسنة 2021 بشأن تحصيل الضريبة على عوائد أذون الخزانة

Abstract

Article 1: As of the first of March, 2021, payment of the tax on the returns of treasury bills shall be through the E-Payment System payments and collections server of the ministry of finance, as per the manual published on the website of the Egyptian Taxation Authority (www.eta.gov.cg). Payment shall be effected as per forms nos. (2) and (3) pertaining to the declaration on the tax withheld at source on the returns of the treasury bills and bonds. As an exception to the foregoing, tax payment may be accepted via any non-cash payment means prescribed for paying the tax dues, following the approval of the minister of Finance, in case it is difficult to pay through the said payment method. In all cases, payment of the tax due on the returns of treasury bills shall be on the prescribed dates. The delay charge prescribed by law shall be collected in case of delay beyond these dates.
