Abstract

Article 1: Temporary Precautionary Measures in the form of a fee amounting to (20%) of the Value (CIF), and not less than 700 L.E. / Tonne, shall be imposed on the imports of white sugar Item which are included under HS Code (1701 99 90) of the harmonized Customs Tariff. The white sugar item shall be subject to the said fee for 200 days as per the provision of Item (1) of Article (83) of the Executive Regulations of Law No. 161 of the year 1998.
