Article 1: The Suez Canal Authority shall, under a guarantee from the Ministry of Finance, entrust each of the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque Du Caire, and Suez Canal Bank with issuing multi-category investment certificates whose proceeds shall be used for financing the advancement and development of the Suez Canal.
